Bayou Advantage, LLC

I was hired, by Bayou Advantage, LLC, along with to other very talented people, to design their companies Branding, Logo and Website.

In the beginning of this project we where given a short description of the company values, services, and their mission. There was already a set color theme that included red, green, black and white; which is presented in the images above.

This company is an Outsourcing Staffing Agency and their Slogan is "People Helping People". So my colleagues and I had the idea of creating something with helping hands. I also took into consideration that the name of the Company was Bayou Advantage. "A bayou is a slow-moving creek or a swampy section of a river or a lake. Bayous are often associated with the southeastern part of the United States." According to the National Geographic Society. As I was designing the logo, I looked out my window at the Lake we live on and remembered that most all murky water has something beautiful in it; A Water Lily. Which helped me come to the idea of making Helping hands in the shape of a Water Lily. We brought a couple of our designs to the table with the head of the company and she ended up being very pleased with my Logo and the meaning behind it.

She then asked us to make a second Logo incorperating the hands shaped like a lily pad so they could use it for other purposes. One of my colleagues ended up designing a logo which incorperated my design that the head of the company was even more pleased with. This Logo ended up being the Offical Logo. Which is presented above along side with the condesnsed versions and Icons.

I also made a Graphic/Logo that she mentioned could be used on their T-Shirts and other Merchandise when that time comes.

After getting all the Graphics set in stone and finished; we than began to designing the Companies website which was created before hand on Wix.

My Colleagues and I designed the companies website together to create a finished product that the head of the company was very pleased with.

Once the project was over; I found that the logo I created, which is presented below, was also being presented on the website as well as the offical logo that my Colleague (inTakt) had designed.

Designing the website in Wix had a lot of limitations, including the amount of people able to edit the website at a time, but my colleagues and I made it work for what the company wanted. In the end the company was very pleased with the finished product.
