The Hastings Arts Center is owned and operated by husband and wife, Travis and Sarah Lockwood. The "center," formerly Guardian Angels Catholic Church, features a performance and event venue, an art gallery, and a music school--Blessings Academy of Arts and Music. We have had some amazing performers on our stage for our first 2 seasons and we are currently working on season 3. We will be announcing our 2017-18 season later this summer. Since opening in 2015, the center's art gallery has featured local artists from the Twin Cities and surrounding areas and we are looking forward to the number of exhibits ahead. So far we have bookings through April 2018!!
The arts center has become a great place for our local community as well as a welcoming place for visitors just passing through or people who are new in town. We could not have created the center without the wonderful support of people who appreciate what we do.
Our main goal is to continue to enrich the lives of all who enter our doors. We hope to transform more than just teach,
and we hope to inspire more than just entertain.
